Grade 6

INTRODUCTION

Ø The staff will endeavor to help the students in the following important areas: to acquire important information; to develop skills which will enable students to work independently and together; to develop map and geographical skills in order to better understand the problems of the world.

Ø The students will constantly be encouraged to "work with" a variety of problems - within and out of the classroom.

Ø The course of study will cover the period of time from the ancient civilizations such as Egypt and Babylonia to the present. Most of the studies will be concerned with the activities of Europe and the area around the Mediterranean.
