Supplementary
Texts and Other Instructional Materials:
Selections
for study and performance by the Instrumental ensembles including; Marching
Band, Concert Band, Brass Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and
the Jazz Band will be chosen from the present music library within the music
department. The library resources will be updated with new selections and
additions on a yearly basis.
Other
Hand outs and exercises may be composed or researched by the instructor for
application to specific areas of concern. Other resources such as audio and
video recordings, live performances, and editorial commentary may also be used
in timely fashion for appropriate application or enrichment of standard lesson
plans.
